Helle Skog is a modern take on a classic carving knife and a step-in knife to start enjoy the relaxation when creating something from a piece of wood. Wood carving has become more and more popular in an increasingly frantic lifestyle. The Helle Skog (Norwegian for 'forest') is a perfect knife to get started with crafting in wood. A place of calm and a place where time slows down. As the name suggests, it is also a knife designed to be used in the forest as a companion for many tasks. The Skog is slightly more robust than a specialized carving knife, offering a wider range of uses. Its hand sanded and contour shaped handle offers a comfortable grip for long sessions without giving hotspots. Smooth contours offer a nice grip and guides your hand to a safe position, even when holding close to the blade. Helle Fossekallen is a worthy sister to the bigger version Eggen. The resemblance with the all-time favorite Helle knife is obvious. Fossekallen offers great versatility in a smaller package and is a great companion in the outdoors. Fossekallen has the same well proportioned shape as its bigger brother – sanded by hand to a satin finish and well-shaped to offer comfort during long carving sessions. The Viking is the revision of a Helle classic that was originally produced as a part of a fund-raiser for an around-the-world expedition in a Viking longship. The handle is barrel shaped, but tapered to give the knife a distinct grip even if it is not contoured. It offers beauty in its simplicity and has become a modern classic, even if the design is more than a 1000 years old. The knife works really well with all size hands, but should only be used by those of you that have more experience. No finger guard here, so think before use. The knife is equipped with a rather thick blade, made of laminated carbon steel. Black to its finish, straight from heat treatment. Its narrow tang reaches all the way through the handle and is pinned old style with a diamond shaped washer. Viking comes with a traditional back sewn leather sheath to hang in its leather loop on the belt. This knife will rust if not maintained.

The Trofé knife embodies hundreds of years of Norwegian tradition and 90 years of brand history in a true collector's piece made to be used. Bleja is the improved version of Helle’s first folder.
