Coreloft™ synthetic insulation is used in areas prone to contact with moisture. The hood and neck gasket utilize synthetic insulation for additional warmth and moisture management. Shaped cuffs cover your hands and wrist gaskets add extra protection against cold. Discreet hand pockets keep small items accessible, and an internal security pocket safely holds a smartphone, wallet or passport. Redesign includes updated style lines for a slightly more relaxed, straighter fit, incorporation of a two-way WaterTight™ Vislon zipper with a snap placket, and utilizing synthetic insulation in the hood and neck gasket.

Expedition Long Down Parka is an extra-long parka version of the classic Expedition Down Jacket from 1974. Made from recycled polyamide and padded with a combination of down and synthetic insulation (approx. 50% of each). The padding is distributed in two layers – one for down, one for synthetics – with an offset construction that gives maximum warmth without cold spots. Just as comfortable for everyday use as for forest walks or ice fishing outings, where the roomy hood and generous length protect against cold winds. Warm and durable down jacket for winter’s really cold days. A classic, long model with outer fabric in hardwearing G-1000 and extra durable G-1000 HeavyDuty over the shoulders and rear. The padding is high-quality, traceable down that has been reinforced with synthetic padding over the shoulders and elbows for extra durability against weather and wear. Perfect for low-intensity winter activities in crisp winter weather, when nothing is allowed to stop you getting outdoors. The cut is feminine and generous at the same time, so there is plenty of room for insulating layers underneath. There is a spacious and adjustable hood with detachable synthetic fur edging for extra protection from swirling snow. The zipper is two way and covered with a wide protective flap. Two large vertical chest pockets with zippers give quick access to small items. In addition, there are two top-loaded pockets lower down plus an inner pocket with a zipper. Drawcords at the waist and hem, while the sleeve cuffs are adjusted with Velcro.

This 3-in-1 parka has a tweed-like appearance and is made from a recycled nylon/polyester shell with a waterproof/breathable barrier, a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and a separate liner insulated with 100-g THERMOLITE® ECO92 100% polyester (92% recycled). Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.
